Well, the weekend is over and I believe that God challenged many, many people to look again at their lives and ask these three questions:
* Is there a Kingdom-sized, "Only-God-can-do-it" RISK that God is telling you to take?
* Are fears that you need to let go of so you can be subject, not to the fears but to God alone?
* What step is God asking you to take?
I feel as though God is taking many members of our congregation to a new level of dependance and obedience with Him! There is no way we can study the life of a great woman of faith like Esther and not evaluate our own "Kingdom-size" efforts. I talked with some who are on the verge of great things as they let go of fear or comfort or their own plans and follow God.
I'd love to know what some of these RISKS that God is bringing to the surface are. I hope you'll take a moment and share them here.

Actually our risk has been the same one we have been fighting for years. Remaining faithful in tithe. We start out great every year with a commitment to tithe and give to God what is rightly HIS! Then, something happens and we end up "not being able to afford to give"... that phrase bothers me... to not be able to afford to give God back with what he has already blessed us?! Crazy I know...but we end up letting our culture and social worries getting the best of us and creating a false conflict within us that influences us to NOT give. What is so crazy about this whole thing is that we know BECAUSE we haven't been tithing we know God has not blessed us financially due to us not trusting Him with our finances.
soo.. long story short...we are going to tithe.. no matter what. In fact we set up our direct deposit checks to have a percentage to go to a seperate account that is used for JUST Tithing....This is our risk, because despite all our frugality and downsizing our budgets, we WILL come up short if we tithe... but then again I guess it isn't REALLY a risk if we trust in Him.
