The Power of Prayer

I started my day in line at the BMV getting new stickers for my car tags. I always seem to wait until my birthday every year to do that rather than be ahead enough to get my new sticker on before the 1st of February. By 3pm (CST) I was in Dallas, Texas (the Holy land for Cowboys fans like me!). Many miles away in just 3 short hours on a jet. I am hear for a conference for Executive Pastors and then Terri and I are taking a few extra days to visit family on both sides in the Lone Star state.

In a way that only my brain works, I recalled an important lesson on prayer that I learned many years ago. S.D. Gordon in his book, "Quiet Talks on Prayer", states that prayer has the power to impact events on the other side of the world! We can pray in Columbus, Ohio and get results in China or India! Now that is more amazing than going from Ohio to Texas in 3 hours.

Let's impact the planet through our vibrant, intense, believing prayers!

Well, you'll be glad to know we prayed for YOU in Ohio and EXPECT God to reach right down into Texas to bless you and give you a fruitful conference with your peers! Have a safe and profitable trip and enjoy some well-earned R & R. YeeHaw.....
